Britton Prescott's best friend is getting married and she's the maid of honor. What her best friend failed to mention, was the fact that her cousin Daphne was going to be a bridesmaid. The same cousin that has been Britton's nemesis since they were in high school.
As if that isn't enough to deal with, Britton's sister announces she's getting married in the same month and her maid of honor is none other than her best friend Daphne, the same woman that has tormented her sister for years. Britton has to suck it up and play nice, instead of scratching her eyes out, because she and Daphne are in both weddings.
Everyone is counting on Britton and Daphne to behave like adults and put the past behind them. No one expects to find them wrapped in each other's arms at the most inopportune time.

I really wanted to give it more stars but it lacked a few things. First the story was incredibly fast not leaving room for any build up. the reason the two main characters hated each other was plausible but again lacking in the depth department. The dialogue was short and choppy at times. There were a few funny moments that made this a better read. Overall i would give it a 2.5 if amazon would allow me .Product details

This book was a very good read up until the last three words. It had a lot of things I look for...humor, misunderstanding, realization and of course intimacy, but I found myself yelling three words of my own when I finished the book "are you kidding". I would like to know how Britton explains those words to Daphne. That's the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.
I absolutely loved this book. I laughed out loud, my heart sank at times, and I felt very happy at the end. They way a book should make me feel. It was full of conflicting emotions, and all of the characters were wonderful. I definitely recommend reading this story!
Loved it! The interactions between Daphney and Britton were literally laugh out loud material. It's light hearted but at the same time you get a great feel for what they are both going through amidst all the chaos. A beautiful story, great love scenes and a fun way to spend a lazy afternoon! Looking forward to more from Graysen!
This is my second story and the first of a series by this author. The subject matter in this story was very light hearted and fun to read.
Can't they just play nice? That is exactly what you want to say to Britton & Daphne. Retract the claws go sit in a corner until you can play nice! These two are bridesmaids in two weddings, two weekends, back to back add to it the party's they each have to put on, each for their individual best friend. Each with their, lets say, hatred for each other or is it love? I wasn't sure if I was going to keep anything straight (or curvy) when I first started reading this book. I had to start over after 3 pages. I got it! I feel for Britton as she is never going to be the apple of her daddy's eye, try as she may. She has disappointed him by not only by not following in his foot steps in the family business but also by not becoming an Olympian. But, she has become her own person an architect/artist in her own right. Love IS in the air through all of the hissing & spitting. It's funny, steamy & draws some tears. You have some understanding of the fear of coming out. Not as much depth as some of Graysen's other books but still very enjoyable.
This is a fantastic love story. I was hooked with the first chapter and it held my attention throughout the story. I look forward to reading more by this author. I will definitely going to recommend this book to others.
This is one hell of a beginning of a new series. I loved it tremendously. All the characters are a bunch of awesome people. Each with their own unique trait. I loved the bickering between Britton and Daphne, their dialogues were great. Now up to the next installment!
